Cancellation Policy

At Psychology Matters Newcastle, appointments are in high demand. It is advisable that if you are wishing to receive ongoing therapy that you book in a number of appointments in advance.

In order to keep my waiting times down you will receive a SMS reminder two days before your appointment.

If, for some reason you need to cancel or postpone the appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment time to avoid incurring a late cancellation fee of $30.00.

Failing to show up to an appointment means that it is impossible for me to offer an appointment to another patient in need. If you do not show up to your appointment you will be charged $50.00, this will be added to the fee of the next appointment or invoiced to you. If you continue to miss appointments, this may jeopardise future appointments in the practice.
